Conditional Formatting Cells used to Sum

Hi I am Debraj, i want to know is there any way to set up conditional format to the cells used in a formula which is in another cell.

Kindly help me out on this.

yes its possible you can use formula in conditional format using another cell

i would be grateful if be helped on this,

but i need is if a formula is cell a1= a2+a4+a5, is there any conditional formatting technique that i can format the cell a2, a4, a5 referring to a1.

in which cell you want to use conditional formating and what is the condition ?

for example cell b1 is the sum of cell a1,a2,a4. i want to set up conditional formatting in column A base of which would be the cells used to get the sum which is in Cell B1.
