Hello,

I've a sheet with 9 tables in it. At the base of each table is a cell highlighting the total in that table. The tables are set out on different rows (see image)

I'd like to set up a conditional format, preferably a Coloured Scale, to highlight the range between all total cells, however at the moment I can only work out how to compare the range across one row. I've tried using the Paste Format tool but that just pastes the conditional format based on the row.

Any ideas?

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Try this

Set up CF with your preferred colour scale conditional formatting on the first total cell. For my dummy layout it looks like this

20 04 11.xlsm
ABCDEFGHIJ
1
2
3
4
5

A10Other TypeColor scaleNO

Go back in to the CF dialog of Manage rules

and edit the 'Applies to' range to include the (top left) cell of the other total areas. For me that is

and the results is
