Hi everyone,
So I have researched my issue, and the link below may be the most relevant, but it does not seem to address exactly what I need to accomplish. My apologies if I have overlooked the correct solution.

http://www.excelforum.com/excel-work...ple-cells.html

Anyway, I have a series of numbers beginning in cell A5 and extending through AF5. There is a corresponding number to which I am comparing this figure in row 25 (A through AF). I created a conditional format to color the cell green if A25"<" A5, no color if A25 "=" A5, and red if A25 ">" A5. If I attempt to drag the cell and conditional format to the right, the reference in the conditional format remains at A5 instead of changing to B5, C5, etc.

Is there a way I can just copy the conditional format but have the column change as I drag across the spreadsheet? Also, not being very familiar with VBA, is there a non-VBA solution?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Did you use a formula in the CF or did you just use the Value Is settings? A Formula should update

ie Formula Is

=A$25>A5

etc etc

I had referenced the cell, rather than using a formula. The formula seems to work. Pretty simple solution that I just overlooked the conditional formatting options. Thanks for the quick reply!
