Conditional Formatting Duplicate Values

Hello all,

I have applied conditional formatting in column A for highlighting duplicate values, but when I copy any value from upper side to down it is not highlighting it for example A is not highlighted because I have copied from upper side cell:

2	B
3	C
4	D
5	A
6	B
7	A

Cells with Conditional Formatting
Cell	Condition		Cell Format	Stop If True
A5	Cell Value	duplicates	text	NO
A1:A4,A6:A1048576	Cell Value	duplicates	text	NO
