Hey guys I have a Training scheduling sheet with a range from D4 to H132 and what I am trying to do is highlight pending training dates.
What would be ideal is 30 day as red, 60 days as yellow and everything above 60 days as green. I have tried a simple =NOW()+30 however when trying for all 3 they override each other and I was given IF((TODAY()-A1)>30,TRUE,FALSE)however this didn't work across the whole sheet as well? We originally had a tracking sheet that did all this but it has been deleted a few years ago and cant be retrieved :(
Thanks from Oz

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Hi bill351,

First, since you'll be using relative reference in your CF formulas, make sure that you have D4, the upper-left cell selected (or the entire range D4:H132), when you define each rule.

Make 3 Rules:
=D4>TODAY()+60 (cell color-> green)
=D4<=TODAY()+30 (cell color-> red)
=D4<=TODAY()+60 (cell color-> yellow)

Then open the Manage Rules dialog.
If the rules don't appear in the same order listed above, use the up and down arrow buttons to reorder them.
Click the checkboxes for "Stop If True" next to the first 2 rules.
Make the Applies To: $D$4:$H$132 for all rules.
