How do you drag the conditional formatting across the row? For example I have colour red for not equal to and green for equal to, but how can you apply the conditional formatting across the row "Due" for the other dates?

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
You can use a formula & use these two
Excel Formula:
=F10<>F11
=F10=F11

I never had a whole lot of luck using Formatting Copier for Conditional Formatting, or trying to extend existing Conditional Formatting rules to other cells (it always seems to be cumbersome and a bit clunky, and often did not work the way I intended).

I would recommend clearing all the Conditional Formatting that you have now, then recreating the rules.
Select the entire range you want to apply the first rule to, and write the formula as it applies to the very first cell in your designated range, and Excel will adjust it for the other cells in that range. If you need to "lock" any cell references, you can do so in your formula with "$" signs.

You need to create a rule using a formula, not cell value.
Use New rule, Use a formula & enter the formula I showed.
