Hi,

I am trying to edit the "Student Schedule" template that is available as a built in feature of Excel. Does anyone know where I can find an explanation of how this is designed?

I see conditional formatting based on this formula

Excel Formula:
=(C4=C3)*(C4<>0)*($B4<Cal_Endtime)

I've never seen a formula with multiplication between boolean values. What does that even mean?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Nevermind, TRUE = 1 and FALSE = 0.

I can't delete the post so I'll add a question. I also see the formula...

Excel Formula:
=B4+@Increment

But, I can't see where Increment is defined. How is this ghost magic done?

It means if C4=C3 and C4 is not 0 and B4 is less than Cal_Endtime if all are true the formula returns true otherwise it returns false.
