Conditional Formatting highlight difference between two tables

Hi All,

I have two tables on Sheet 1. They are set out where table 2 sits under table 1. I have a list of items and then dates in both tables. I want to highlight, in table 2, if a date differs from the date in table 1. I've tried the following formula in conditional formating =$d14<>$d5. This works for the first cell but when I try copy the conditional formating to other cells (in table 2) it does not. The screen shot below deomnstrates the output I would like

Your formula will always use whatever is in column D regardless of what column you put the rule in. Use this instead:

=D14<>D5

When you set this up, use a single rule with Applies To range of D14:G19
