Conditional formatting (how to hide dates after Today)

I am working on a spreadsheet which has dates in column A. These are ether in first of the month intervals or first of the week intervals. The list goes on into the future but usually I don’t need to see either the first day of next month (and subsequent months) or the first day of next week (or subsequent weeks).

My questions are:

<!--[if !supportLists]-->2)[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]<!--[endif]-->Sometimes I will want to see a year ahead to input values into other columns along side the monthly or week start dates.

1) Use a formula in CF of =A1>TODAY()

and Format to set the font colour to white.

2) not sure what you mean.

First condition:

Cell value greater than =TODAY()

and format to white font or something.

Second condition:

Don't understand...you want to see dates that are greater than one year in the future, but still hide the ones between today and one year in the future??

A further question.



Is it possible after applying a CF to the cells in my Column A (so they don’t appear till after ‘today’) to tell Excel that the values in the rows of the columns to the right should not appear till after ‘today’ either? Thanks again.

Apply conditional formatting to both column A and column B with the formula:

=$A1>TODAY()

and note the $.
