Conditional formatting in a bar chart not based on Values

Have you ever come across a macro for excel that allows you to dynamically color-code an excel chart like the below? Or at least run a macro that assigns colors based on another column. Simple example: Take the companies below. Green are all the ones we were involved in. there’d be separate column indicating that. When one sorts the array and one clicks the macro refresh button, the colors would get updated. I used peltier charting before to dynamically assign color scheme based on the values. here i am looking for color code based on what i own vs rest. Timely response is highly appreciated!!

Great! I logged off yesterday before you posted your clarification ... but you managed OK without any help, so hats off to you. :-)

Hi
"First time caller, long time listener"

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I'd add to the end of this one.

I have the following data:

Which gives a very nice column chart.

But now I've been asked if I can show (on a conditional scale from green through to red) how these accuracy figures relate to the volume of sales each company makes.

The dataset now looks like this:

<TABLE style="WIDTH: 144pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=192><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 48pt" span=3 width=64><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #e0dfe3; So, what I'm after is the column chart showing the accuracy numbers, but colour coded (like XL does within it's conditional formats in cells) on the sales volumes.

Can anyone help please?
