Hi, I have simple to do list in a table with one rule in Conditional Formatting. If the text within cells D5:D19 are changed to "Completed", the entire row should color green. Somehow once the Conditional Formatting is applied the alignment is also changed. I already tried to save the Excel file in a different format (.xls, .xlsm, etc.), but it doesn't change anything.

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
Usually when that happens it is down to the rule being set up against a row lower down the sheet.

When you set up the rule make sure that the top left cell of the range is active and base any formulas on that cell.

Thanks, this did the trick!
