Good Morning and Happy New Year.

I am not sure what I am asking is possible I am a bit of a newbie at this but here goes.

I am trying to colour 4 cells next to each the same colour if the text SP is imputed in 1 of them is that possible.

so these cells represent Monday on a roster. Start time I14, finish time J14, turn number K14, total hours worked L14. I14,J14,K14,L14 are the 4 cell group that I would like to colour K14 is where the information SP is.

13:3023:25SP 13:3009:5512:0320:08NN96208:05 RD RD 14:3122:35NN96408:0412:0021:55SP 12:0009:55
<colgroup><col width="179" style="width: 134pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 6546;" span="2"> <col width="179" style="width: 134pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 6546;"> <col width="179" style="width: 134pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 6546;" span="21"> <tbody> </tbody>

This is one line the first 4 boxes are L14,J14,K14,L14. K14 is the line we input the others vlookup and fill the data in auto. I would like to input K14 and to colour all 4 boxes if SP is present. I have 36 lines on 6 rosters
its a pain to have to colour them each cell at a time. I can get K14 to colour but was just trying to do all 4

Any help greatly received and if you need more info just ask Im not great at explaining

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
In I14 place the conditional formatting formula:

=LEFT($K14,2)="SP"

or something similar and apply it to:

=$I$14:$L$14
