conditional formatting-need to skip columns in search

I have a sales spreadsheet for each day of the month, including Saturday and Sunday. Not all Sales people work each day. I need to compare one day's sales to the previous day that had sales; if the value is less than the previous day I want to format the cell red. This is easy enough if there is a value in the adjacent column, but how do I set it up to search until a value is found?

Example:
<TABLE style="WIDTH: 288pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=384 border=0><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 48pt" span=6 width=64><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD class=xl68 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; HEIGHT: 15pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" width=64 height=20> </TD><TD class=xl65 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; WIDTH: 48pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right width=64>1-Jun</TD><TD class=xl65 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; Mary's sales on June 3 should be red; Joe's on June 4th should not be; Bob's on June 5 should be red.

Thanks.

Hi,

Paste this to a module.
The code is based on sheet1.
You may need to change to the sheet name.

Code:
Sub TestVal()
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
Dim lrow As Long, lcol As Long
Dim i As Integer, j As Integer
lrow = Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A65536").End(xlUp).Row
lcol = Sheets("Sheet1").Range("IV1").End(xlToLeft).Column
For i = 2 To lrow

    For j = 2 To lcol
        If j = 6 Then Exit For
        If Cells(i, j).Text = "" Then j = j + 1
        If Cells(i, j).Value > Cells(i, j + 1).Value And Cells(i, j + 1).Value <> "" Then
            Cells(i, j + 1).Interior.ColorIndex = 3
        End If
    Next j
Next i

End Sub
