Hi
Lets say that i have a big sheet with many rows and columns. Similar to the table below. Lets say I have 10000 rows and 100000 columns. Lets say I want to highlight cells which has value >50. So do I need to select all the number in the table and then go to conditional formatting and select Greater than rules. Is there better way? Selecting all numbers is not practical. It is possible to select cell B2 and apply conditonal formatting on it and then "somehow" I ask excel to do the same formatting to other numbers? Thank you very much

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
You could set the rule for B2 & then use the format painter, but you would still need to select the cells.

Hi,
as the drawback of using conditional formatting is that makes a big sheet so heavy, may slow down its use …
