Hi,

I am trying to produce a spreadsheet that has cells which have a dropdown list. I want the sheet so that when you select a option from the list it will have a unique background colour for that cell.

I have tried conditional formatting but this only works if you have only three options but I have 8.

Please can anyone help.

Thanks

Patrick

Hello,

THis uses a List box from the forms toolbar, and assigned this code

Code:
Sub Macro1()
    Select Case Range("F14").Value
     Case 1
         Range("F14").Interior.ColorIndex = 3
    End Select
End Sub

You will need to change refs and add all other conditions.
