Conditional Formatting or Conditiona statement

Hello there..

I have this formula:

=IF(V10>(MIN(Y10,Z10,AA10)),"Not Good","Good")

Is there any chance that I can get the result of "Not Good" in red and the result of "Good" in green, in that particular cell? I tried the conditional formatting but it's not really working on this case.

Any help/ideas would be appreciated.

Welcome to the board..

Conditional formatting should work for that...
Highlight the cell with that formula
format - conditional formatting
select "Value Is"
select "Equal to"
="Not Good"
Select Red Color
click ADD to add a 2nd condition
Select "Value Is"
Select "Equal to"
="Good"
Select Green Color
click OK

That should work.

Thank you very much. This is great. It worked.

One more question, what about if you have a huge number of cells and it will be really tedious to do that for each cell manually, is there another way to select the colomn with the Good/Not Good thing and make it red/green automatically?

Sure, follow the same steps as before, but just select ALL the cells you want it applied to first...then click format - condtional formatting - etc...

OR

After entering it in the first, copy that cell,
Then highlight the rest of the cells, right click - paste special - formats
