Conditional Formatting Or Function Two Colors

Hi Gents,
Is there any way to give two different colors for each condition for conditional formatting? Like =OR (E1>0; E1<0) then values less than "0" will be red highlighted and values greater than "0" green ?

You can create multiple conditions for the same range. In your case, you would use one for =E1>0 (green) and another for =E1<0 (red).

Thanks for the help.So basically, I need to create two conditional rules via conditional formatting ? but it only lets me to create per sheet ? Or am i missing something ?

You can add as many as you need. Home > Conditional formatting > Manage rules.

Excel 2003 (or older) had a limit of 3 rules for any given range. As far as I know, versions from 2007 onward are unlimited (possibly limited by computer memory, etc. but it would be big numbers).

If you're using a program other then Excel then there may be different restrictions.

Thanks for the help.So basically, I need to create two conditional rules via conditional formatting ? but it only lets me to create per sheet ? Or am i missing something ?

If your wanting the same conditional formatting in numerous sheets same column
Just copy the column in sheet1 and paste to same column in sheet2 and on and on as many sheets as you want.
Or we write some vba code to do it.

How did you solve it?

If you want to just copy conditional formatting into column and not the values.
I have a Vba script to do that.
Especially if you want this in several sheets
