I apologize for the beginner echo I am making here, but I really never grasped conditional formatting. I need to set a condition where if the cell is blank, it will place a 0 in the blank. I am assuming this is a formula condition?

conditional formatting CANNOT place a VALUE in the Cell. It can only change formatting of the cell, fill color, font, borders..

OK then.... I have 50,000 cells, give or take a couple, about a third of them are blank. Any suggestions for finding a quick way to place zeroes where the blanks are?

Perhaps

Edit - Goto - Special - Blanks - Click OK
Type a 0
Press CTRL + ENTER

Hope that helps..
