Probably an easy one
I need to create a conditional format where when for example-
the cell A1 will change to yellow if a certain date is exceeded

but here is the query - I then need the next 5 cells below cell a1 to automatically change to the same colour as cell A1 regardless of their content

thanks

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).

Hello,

What you need to do is to find the number of the date e.g 1/1/04 = 37987

Select A1 and select FORMAT --> CONDITIONAL FORMATING

in Condition 1 Change CELL VALUE IS to FORMULA IS and in the box to the right enter =$A$1>37987

Use the format painter to format the five cells below.
