Can you use conditional formatting to add color rows in between filled in rows?
But there is 2 empty rows in between filled in rows I need the lower row to be filled in color?
Could you fire this off using VBA

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

Could you post a small example of your data, so we can see what it looks like? It will help us to be able to craft a better solution if we get an idea of how the data is laid out.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.
