Conditional Formatting to Null Formula Results

Hi, I hope that someone can help me with this one...

I have a formula that spits out a variety of text, along with the occasional null value in a cell column. I would like conditional formatting to adjust the color of the null valued cell. How would I do this?

In conditional formatting, try using the "Formula Is" option, with a formula like:

=LEN(A1)=0
