Conditional formatting - Vlookup with multiple conditions

Hello

The only data that will be inputted in the cells is either "D" or "N". I would like to highlight cells that follow the conditions below:

Search in column: A and if the value matches - then highlight the cell
  • IF value = "D" and "D" or
  • IF value = "D" and "N" or
  • IF value = "D" and the previous cell to it's left's value = "N"
In the examples below cell C2 should always be highlighted
