Hello. I am trying to conditionally format a cell so that when #N/A is returned as a result of a formula, the cell pattern (background) will be yellow. My only options under conditional formatting are 'Value Is' and 'Formula Is' and neither seems to work. What am I missing?

Thanks!

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple

Hi,

Select the range you want to apply it to. Then look at the top left (below menu bars) where the active cell name is displayed. Lets say it's A1.

Go to Conditional Formatting and use Formula Is:
=ISNA(A1)
Then click Format -> Pattern and choose the desired color.

Hope this helps.
