Good day,

I have two columns with dates:
Column E: Date when person was trained: ie 01 Jan 2019
Column F: Due Date (when person must be trained again - a year from Column E: used this formula: =DATE(YEAR(E4)+1,MONTH(E4),DAY(E4))

I need a formula that will be able to say if Column F is Overdue, Outstanding or Current.

Overdue is if Column F is past Today's date
Outstanding is if Column F has not passed but still needs to be done this year
Current is if Column F is a date that is the following year

I got as far as =IF(ISBLANK(F4),"",IF(F4<TODAY(),"Overdue","Outstanding")) but have no idea to get the formula to give me "Current" result

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Try this.

=IF(ISBLANK(F4),"",IF(F4<TODAY(),"Overdue",IF(YEAR(F4)=YEAR(TODAY()),"Outstanding","Current")))
