This is probably an easy one.

I'm testing the use conditional formatting using a formula. The rule description is :

=C4=OR(C7,C9)

Where C4 is a drop down list selected from a list in C7:C8. Basically, to test, I'd like to make a selection in C4, and if that value is equal to the value in either C7 or C9, then change the fill color in a cell. If the value in C4 is anything other than these two options, leave the cell alone.

I know you can add additional rules and make this work. However, we have a longer drop down list that we want to use this on and it may be advantageous to be able to use the OR function to reference 10, 15, or 20 items out of a master list.

Appreciate any help or guidance.

Matt

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
