Conditional Formatting would paste alright, but not when pasting huge data cells.

Hi all,

I have a huge data where I need to copy and paste conditional formatting. When I paste around 550 rows consisting of CF, it will copy paste just fine. However, when I paste around 1000 rows then it would not display any formats, although the cells do have CF rule embedded in them.

Would appreciate a workaround this weird behavior in Excel.
Btw I am using Excel 2019 latest built.

Thanks.

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
To be exact the CF will only work if 765 rows are being copied and pasted. If the row number exceeds this value, CF will not display formatting at all. It does not matter how much columns or CF formatting there are, the limit is bound with the row numbers, example 1 till 765 rows.

To me for now the only solution is to paste data in parts, as to not exceed this value.
