Good afternoon all,

I'm having a few issues with 'conditional formatting' I have it working partially!

What I'm trying to establish is when the date cell matches the current days date the whole row is highlighted. I can get the date cell highlighted but not the whole row.

Friday
01/05/2020
400.00
Saturday
02/05/2020
500.00
Sunday
03/50/2020
200.00

Hope this makes sense and thanks in advance
Clive

Select the whole range you want to highlight, and make sure to use the $ in front of the column reference with the date.

Welcome to the Board!

Select the rows that you want affected by this Conditional Formatting.
Then, select the Formula option of Conditional Formatting, and write the formula as it applies to the very first row in your selection.

So, let's say that your first data row is row 2, and column B is your date column.
Then the CF formula would look like:
=$B2=TODAY()
Note that you need the dollar sign in front of the column reference to lock it down.

Hi,

[EDIT]: beaten in time by previous -)

Did you apply the rule on the whole range?

Thank you this worked perfectly!!
