Hi,

In cell B2 I have a data validation list, in C2 I want a conditional format formula that populates the cell with N/A if all but 1 of the selections available in B2 are chosen. For example, the selection options are Staff Retention, Staff Training, Staff Supervision, Staff Holidays. If staff holidays is selected C2 needs completing, if any other selection is made C2 requires N/A.

Thanks

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN

Conditional Formatting does NOT return values. As its name suggests, it can only format the cells when certain conditions are met.
If you want values to return to cells, you need to use formulas or VBA code.
