I'm trying to set up Conditional formatting so that if B6 = F then all cells selected where the formula entered into Conditional Formatting applies would be filled with a specific color. I highlight all the desired cells, go to conditional formatting, select :Use a formula to determine which cells to format and have tried a few formulas such as

=IF(B6,"F")

But that's not working. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Do you want to highlight the entire row? If so it should be
Excel Formula:
=$B2="F"
The row number in the formula must match the 1st row in the applies to range

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
Isn't it be B2 in formula?
DOH! Working with too many spreadsheets. I corrected that but the formula and it works exactly as needed. THANK YOU all and appreciate the patience with my simple mistake
