Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to add a formula to fill a cell with different colors based upon whether data is present in two other cells. Attached is an example. If columns A and B have data present then column C should fill with green, if only column A has data then yellow and if neither column has data then red. Any help would be appreciated.

JJ

Thank you for the response! Where would I go to enter the "Cells with Conditional Formatting" portion of your answer?

Goto conditional formatting, new rule, use a formula & enter the formula shown. You will need to do it for each formula

Got it, thank you. Is there any way to pivot the data to pull in formatting. I am trying to get the data to look like rows 10 through 12 as my next step.

As this is a totally different question, it needs a new thread. Thanks
