Hi All,

Is there a way to put in directional/colored Arrows with conditional formatting (or conditional statement) in Excel 2003?

IE: if A1 < 5 then insert (green arrow)

I see that Excel 12 has that functionality through icon sets, but I did not know how to do this in 2003.

Thanks,

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Not too sure what you're after, but see if something like this would work:

B1 = IF(A1<5,CHAR(226),"")

Format B1 as Wingdings font with green font color

(To see all of the symbols you can get from the Wingdings font, Format column A as Wingdings, put =CHAR(ROW()) in A1 and copy down)

edit: forgot CHAR(226) instead of 226
