Hello Everyone

I have a cell that I’ve put some conditional formatting into

This cell has a value in it that comes in from a link.

The value is compared to the value in another cell, I need the formatting to change if there is a variance more then + or – the number 6.

Any help?

Thanks

Do you mean with variance maybe difference?

If so try this.

Put in CF Formula is

=OR(A1-A2 >6,A2-A1 >6)

You have the CF formattting in cell A1 in this case.

Hi,

I think the formula
=OR(A1-A2 >6,A2-A1 >6)

can be made shorter like this
=ABS(A1-A2)>6
enhancing your calculation-speed

kind regards,
Erik
