Hi All,

I want to format a cell, based on the conditional formatting of another cell.

E.g. I have data in A1. I have set up conditional formatting in this cell which changes the cell fill colour dependant on its value. I want to mirror this cell formatting in B1, without the data.

Is this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm using Excel 2007.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
You can use the formula option in conditional formatting to use a formula that refers to another cell, e.g. if you are formatting A1 if its value is greater than 10 then you can get B1 to be the same by using the formula

=A1>10
