Conditional Formatting

I have run some conditional formatting but how do you get rid of it after. Reason I say that is it makes macros run really slowly after. Macros that normally take seconds are taking minutes. I have tried copy and pasting values and clear rules. Also if it was set to highlight cells I can't get rid of the colours either. Thanks.

You can highlight the range again and go into conditional formatting.
There is a button called "Delete"
you then choose which conditional format you want to get rid of
