I would like to use conditional formatting in cell D18. If D18 value is >= +/-0.0050 shade the cell red

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
try selecting cell D18 and then insert the conditional format. Maybe one of these?
Code:
=ABS(D18)>=0.005
or
=OR(D18<=-0.005,D18>=0.005)

Well, select range D18:D22 and then apply the conditional format to the whole range in a single operation. As a cell reference, use whatever cell is active. So, if you're on cell D18, use that in the conditional format formula: if you're on cell D22, use that: Excel will apply it to all the cells in a relative fashion. cheers
