Hello all and thanks to all the Excel Forum members for helping others.

My question is concerning using conditional formatting for cells.

I have my workbook for our golf league and would like to fill cells when the players score on each hole is over "NET PAR". When the scores are net par and under, the cells will remain clear.

So the conditions used are, the "Players Handicap", "Hole Handicap"
Par Score of Hole, and Players Gross Score.

Thanks, Club Rat

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
click the cell that you want to format once (lets say its B1), go to conditional formatting and from the dropdown choose Formula Is, then type =A1 < B1 then choose a format (patterns>red), click ok and then copy the cell down.

Now if the value in B1 is greater than the value in A1 the cell will turn red, you can add up to 3 conditions in excel 2003 and nore in 2007 onwards.
had to use quotes because of html parsing here???
