Conditional formatting?

hi excel gurus,

Just wondering if its possible to fill certain groups of rows if the cells have the same text e.g:

purple
purple

red
red
red

spiderman
batman
batman


i.e. one word is below another and if they are the same as the cell above then highlight those two (or more) rows the same colour ?

please can someone help?

i guess the duplicate conditional formatting works, but i want each instance of a duplication to be a different colour? :confused:
