Hi,

I have a database of excel workbook in which assosiates would type in the completed date.

I am having list of due dates in Column C and the associates would type in the completed date in Column D against each due dates.
My requirement is:

I need the cells in Column D to be highlighted in red when they enter the date that has crossed due date.

No need of change in patterns or color when the date entered equals the due date or before the due date.

Thanks in advance!!

In D1, go to conditional formatting. Use Formula Is and type =D1>C1 and select your format (red). Copy cell D1. Highlight column D, right-click and choose paste special>formats.
