Conditional has no formula

I need a method to be able to format cells that don't contain formulas
Preferably using conditional formatting.

Can you help?

Create a simple UDF

Function IsFormula(rng as Range)
IsFormula = rng.HasFormula
End Function

then test in CF like so

=NOT(IsFormula(H1))

This solution is doing a weird things to my spreadsheet where the last 6 rows on
my screen go blank on a worksheet activate event.

If i clear the function from the module the works ok
