Conditional IF function in XL2003

Hello,

I'm having the problem trying to do the following from the data below:-

I need a formula saying: If work type equals R and Del Method does not equal UD, then give SUM of Days. There are two rows that fulfill this criteria (1st and 4th) so answer should equal 70. How can i do this with a formula? I've tried using IF and AND functions with an array but the answer comes out as 0.
