Hello -

I have a report that dynamically shows either ratios or values based upon the user's selection. How can I use conditional formatting to format the cells as a percent type? I see how to highlight and change font, but not how to change number format.

Thanks for your help!

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.

Rather than using conditional formatting, try using the normal number formatting options. There are various things that you can do directly with this facility. Do a search in HELP for custom number formats.
