Conditional replacement for dynamic range

Hello Fellows

I have a macro for replacing multiple conditions but it runs very slows. I need to replace cell in many collumns based on the row (4). I think it would be necessary a looping

For instance if Row(4) =

G/T then replace GG = 1 and TT=-1
else
A/G then replace AA =1 and GG=-1
else
A/C then replace AA=-1 and CC=1
