I cannot get the conditional sum wizard to work over multiple worksheets

If I have on the following columns on worksheets 1, worksheet 2 and worksheet 3:
number of apples, number of pears, number of oranges.
Worksheet1: number of apples = 3
number of pears = 4
number of oranges = 8

Worksheet 2:
number of apples = 4
number of pears = 3
number of oranges = 9

Worksheet 3:
number of apples = 1
number of pears = 2
number of oranges = 7

Is there an easy way to calculate the total number of apples and place the result on a totals worksheet using the conditional sum, or in fact using any method.
