I want to sum a column of numbers, including those that contain a formula but excluding those that are simply values.

Specifically, I wish to add up a number of cells which are still active (ie contain a formual) but exclude from the summation those that are now inactive (ie have been converted from a formula to a integer value).

Is this possible (without scripting)?

Thanks

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
