Conditionally Unlocking Columns with VBA (Excel 2007)

Hi All,
I hope someone can help with this little problem.

I have a worksheet which shows sales for the Current Year.
Months are numberic column headers 1 - 12
Current Month is a value held in cell "X1" (currently 8 for August)

I want to unlock the columns for Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec (where the month >= to Current Month

Number of rows in the table can change.
