I have a cell equal to "10/31/05 - 11/04/05"

I have a start date and end date, which can equal 10/31/05 to 1/1/08.

Condtional Format Equation:

If Start Date and End Date is equal or between, R1 ("10/31/05 - 11/04/05"), then color cell red.

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
After selecting conditional formatting choose Cell Value Is THEN between THEN ENTER 10/31/05 THEN IN THE NEXT SPACE ENTER 1/1/08 . Select format and choose the patterns tab, and select red. Press OK and OK again. Is this what you wanted?
