Hi Team,

Below is my requirement, pls help me with macro..

1. There's master sheet with data, this master sheet will be shared with 10 people to work
2. Each one will update/amend the existing data if required and add new row/s at the last basis the requirement
3. No of columns in the master sheet is dynamic (changes frequently basis the need) hence not able to provide no. of columns available in the master sheet

Requirement:
1. The excel files received from individuals will be saved in one location
2. Primary key is Uni_ID (Column A)
3. The macro need to pick each workbook (one sheet), compare it with master using Uni_ID, update other columns if there're any changes and leave it of there're no changes
4. If Uni_ID available in user file and not available in master, add the data into the last row
5. In the last column, capture the last updated by (file name) and date if we add/make changes to the data

Hope this is clear..

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Not sure if you are still searching for a solution to this, but your requirements 1-4 are addressed in the following thread:

Update a Master Sheet with Changed or New Data From Another Sheet

Important to note however that the number and sequence of columns has to be consistent between the master sheet and update sheets. In other words, if you add columns to the master, then you have to replicate those changes for your 10 contributors in their feeder sheets. This poses an administrative challenge -- not impossible, especially with some version control. But I am not sure it can be automated to support "dynamic" changes.
