Hi,
and thanks eliW, glad to be here.
I have another question.
I have a large amount of data spread over 72 sheets in 1 work book. All the sheets are not full however. Is there a way to consolidate the data so each sheet is full and free up more sheets?
Thanks again

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Hi,
Depending on how you are exploiting your data perhaps you should consider using a database like Access.

hi

You can use Excel to create simple databases in a list format. You can then use various function such as Autofilter to manipulate your data. You have to give sufficient thought to the layout of your database to use it to its best advantage. The example below is a simple layout and uses the Month function to cteate a column of Month identifiers to sort by.You can use Dynamic Named Ranges (have a look at http://www.microsoftexceltraining.com/VBA/default.htm for more info on Dynamic Named ranges).
