hey hi all,

can any pls tell what symbol we are using for "contains" keyword?

pls suggest :eek:

actually i have formula below..
what i try..

if BA434 contains 125ab or 50ab or 5ab then only number comes to M4 i.e 125 or 50 or 5

or else if it 125abc or 50abc or 5abc then straightway 125abc or 50abc or 5abc.

=IF(BA4<>"",IF(BA4="%ab", LEFT(BA4,LEN(BA4)-3), BA4),"")

is my formula in correct direction?
