If the contents of a cell is hidden, is there still a way of displaying something in that cell?
Example
A1 contents is idx and it is hidden, appears to be an empty cell
But can something still display and be seen in that same cell?........example: Invoice Number

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
I'm not sure what you mean by hidden, but you can add this formatting to the custom formatting:

;;;"Invoice Number"
